Television show reviews coming soon

While this blog is usually focused on what is going on in comic books, we do occasionally venture out and cover other forms of entertainment feature properties that originated within comic books.  This has usually been the occasional movie or video game review.  Well, now, I will be venturing forth into the world of television.  I’ve mainly stayed away from doing this in the past for the simple reason that I didn’t have access to a lot of the shows when they aired.  I was never home when Cartoon Network would air their DC cartoons, and I didn’t have access to Disney XD for any of the Marvel stuff.  Well, thanks to DVR and DirctTV, that’s no longer an issue.

You’ll first start to see reviews when The Walking Dead returns from its mid-season break this Sunday.  After that, on April 1, Marvel will be premiering their animation block on Disney XD.  This block will consist of the returning Avengers:  Earth’s Mightiest Heroes (wonderful show that’s currently on Netflix) and the debuting Ultimate Spider-Man.  The DC Nation block of programming is expected to premiere sometime this Spring (rumors have March 3) and will consist of a new animated Green Lantern series, a new Batman series titled Beware the Batman, Young Justice, and several shorts done by different animation studios.  Also certain to be added is a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon that will be shown on Nickelodeon.

Hope you enjoy it.
